RYA & BCU Lifeguard First Aid Training & Assessing

is also very active in Aquatic First Aid training. RTA is a Royal Yachting
Association Recognised Teaching Establishment offering RYA First Aid Courses,
which are based on recommendations from the HSE and Marine & Coastguard Agency.
This one day qualification is neccessary to maintain your Yachtmaster or Dinghy
Instructor qualification. It also meets the needs of British Canoe Union (BCU)
Level 3 Coaches and Scout Permits. Typical cost £46, including full St John /
Red Cross manual and
certificate.
To compliment this RTA also offers the BCU Lifeguards Aquatic First Aid Level One Courses. Which are specifically aimed at the canoeing fraternity, including up to Level 3 Coach. This course is completed during a one day session. typical costs including full First Aid Made Easy manual and certificate: (£46 BCU members) (£48 non-BCU members).
The new 4 hr Primary First Aid can also be offered (up to Level 2 Coach) please contact to discuss.
