Level 1 Award in Workplace Health & Safety. The HABC Level 1 Awards in Health and Safety have been developed to ensure that employees are equipped with a basic knowledge of health and safety in their workplace, including the duties under UK health and safety legislation. The qualifications need no former knowledge of Health and Safety and is therefore ideal as part of a company health and safety induction programme, but it could also form part of ongoing refresher training designed to improve the health and safety culture in a workplace.
evel 2 Award in Workplace Health & Safety. The Level 2 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace is a qualification aimed at all employees. The qualification is intended for candidates already in workplaces and those who are preparing to start or return to work. It is also very useful for young persons to raise their ability to identify and understand hazards when preparing for work experience and into employment.

Level 2 Award in Safer Moving & Handling. This award makes candidates aware of their responsibilities and gives them a good understanding of the principles of safe moving and lifting of loads. QCF recognised.
Level 2 Award in Risk Assessment (QCF).This qualification is designed to be an introduction to the principles of Risk Assessment. It covers why risk assessments are necessary, the legal requirements relating to risk assessments and simple processes for carrying out a risk assessment.
Level 2 Award in the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health. Aimed at those learners who work in an environment where coming into contact with hazardous substances is likely. This includes workplaces in areas such as manufacturing, cleaning, healthcare, transport, utilities and office environments. It gives learners the knowledge and skills to recognise the risks associated with hazardous substances and how to control them.
evel 2 Award for Personal Licence Holders - APLH. The law requires alcohol sales on licensed premises to be made or authorised by a personal licence holder. Individuals applying for a personal licence must hold an accredited licensing qualification such as the HABC Level 2 Award for Personal Licence Holders (APLH)
Level 2 Food Safety in Catering or Manufacturing. The Level 2 Award Food Safety in Catering, Manufacturing and Retail and specifically for insertion onto the Qualifications and Credit Framework with full support from Peple 1st, the Sector Skills Council for Hospitality, Leisure, Travel and Tourism. It is therefore fully cognisant with industry and regulatory standards as well as being recognised by Environmental Health Practitioners, Auditors and other Enforcement Officers. Level 2 Award in Pool Lifeguarding. The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) guidance document, “HSG 179: Managing health and safety in swimming pools” strongly recommends that all pool lifeguards complete a recognised qualification in pool lifeguarding. The HABC Level 2 Award in Pool Lifeguarding (QCF) has been developed to meet the requirements of the HSE. This qualification provides the necessary skills and knowledge for learners who wish to be employed as a pool lifeguard. This qualification is valid for two years and can be kept up to date with regular ongoing training carried out by an approved training provider.
Level 2 Award in Understanding Stewarding at Spectator Events. This stewarding award has been accredited by the regulators of England, Wales and N. Ireland and is part of the QCF. It is supported by Skills Active, the Sector Skills Council for the sport and active leisure sector. The qualification is aimed at learners who wish to work as a steward in the Active Leisure and Learning sector. This may include sporting events, music festivals, rock and pop concerts, parades and carnivals. Learners gaining this qualification will know how to prepare for events, control entry and exit of customers, identify and deal with crowd problems and respond to emergencies.
