Mark  has a keen interest in water sports he is a BCU Level 3 Inland Kayak Coach (membership no 042933/F) and can assess up to 4 * Kayak, 2* Open Canoe and Canoe Safety Test.  He is also a BCU Bell Boat helm. His interests also expand further to coastal sailing and powerboating. As a District Water Activity Adviser in the Scout Association he assists at a Scout Canoe Club on Monday nights in the spring / summer season at Warrington.  Opportunities exist for others to join in and ad hoc trips are also arranged. In a related field Mark is a British Dragon Boat Racing Association Level 2 Coach for approximately six years he operated and managed Cheshire Scout's "Cheshire Dragon" at the Riverside Centre, Chester. Through Mark's contacts corporate paddling / team building can be arranged.
