CIEH Professional Trainer Certificate 

Overview:

This qualification is essential for anyone wishing to become a CIEH registered trainer. (Other trainer qualifications maybe accepted). It is ideal for anyone who needs to understand the basics of training practice or wants to refine their training techniques. It encourages a flexible approach to training delivery which takes into account recent advances in accelerated learning and neuro-linguistic programming (NLP). Successful candidates will be able to structure, design and deliver interesting and stimulating training.

• Training needs and objectives

• Learning styles and preferences

• Training skills

This qualification is delivered over 3 or 4 days and each delegate is assessed by presenting their own short lesson.  Makes an ideal qualification for an 'in house' company trainer who needs guidance to get started.  Also opens the door if you have the right subject specialist qualifications to register as a CIEH Trainer and work in Recognised CIEH Centres.

RLSS UK Lifesaving & Pool Lifeguard Trainer / Assessor Courses

What will you gain?

This course is delivered in conjunction with the Active Training Network.  Upon successful completion of this course and probationary period- you will have achieved the either RLSS Lifesaving TA or RLSS Pool Lifeguard TA and possibly the ISRM Unit 2 TA, or all 3 awards to Probationary Status.  This will depend on which RLSS Units etc. you complete.  The course is delivered by Conrad Horn Pool Lifeguard NTA and Mark J. O'Dell Lifesaving NTA and Pool TA.  Download the RLSS Advice document on becoming a Trainer Assessor

Unit 1 Generic Train the Trainer (1 day)        Unit 2 Generic Train the Assessor (1 day)

Unit 3 Trainer the Life Support TA (1 day)     Unit 4 Trainer the Pool Lifeguard TA (2 days)

Unit 5 Train the Lifesaving TA (1 day)            ISRM Unit 2 Site Specific Trainer (1 day)

My next Lifesaving TA course is at Park Pool, Ormskirk with Conrad:

Unit 1- 30/11/10, Unit 2 - 01/12/10, Unit 3 - 02/12/10, Unit 5 - 04/12/10.

Pool TA units can be arranged on 6+7/12/10.  ISRM Unit 2 TA on 08/12/10
