Level 1 Certificate - Health & Safety in the Workplace.

Level 1 Certificate - Induction to safety in food premises. Syllabus link

Level 2 Certificate - Health & safety in the Workplace. Designed to ensure that all employees are aware of their own safety and the safety of customers, contractors and the public. This qualification can be tailored to business and individual needs to make the learning experience relevant and fit for purpose. Syllabus link.

Level 3 Award - Health & safety in the Workplace. This qualification provides a thorough understanding of health and safety emphasising the importance of monitoring staff and controls. It also details the need for a structured management approach to health and safety and the key factors in implementing health and safety policy. Syllabus link.

Level 1 Award in Fire safety Awareness. This qualification provides a basic understanding of workplace fire safety and prevention. Syllabus link.

Level 2 Award in Fire Safety Principles. This award qualifies candidates to become workplace fire wardens / marshals. Syllabus link.

Level 2 Award in Conflict Resolution and Personal Safety. This qualification provides employees with a foundation in conflict resolution, with emphasis on the importance of personal safety to enable them to protect themselves in the face of confrontational behaviour. Syllabus link.

Level 2 Award in Manual Handling - Principles and Practise. A theory and practical course in manual handling skills. Options to just do the Principles (Half day) or the full course (one full day). Syllabus link.

Foundation certificate in stress awareness. A short course to raise stress awareness in the workplace. Stress awareness / management is a developing field to protect your staff. Syllabus link.

Level 2 Award in Principles of COSHH: Prepares employees to contribute to the safer use of hazardous substances. Syllabus link.

News: June 2011 RTA has been through a CIEH Audit and has achieved 100% compliance with the CIEH standards as a registered centre.

EASTER SCHOOL: Congratulations to the 7 students who completed their Pool Lifeguard, First Aid at Work and AED course at Sir John Deane's Leisure Centre, Northwich. Next Pool Lifeguard course is 6th August 2012.

Paediatric First Aid course in Warrington added on 4th & 5th June 2012. �85.

Jan 2-12 RTA have just run a Pool Attendant course for 8 staff at Wirral Autistic Society.

Jan 2012 RTA have been delivering Level 2 Health & Safety courses at Elior Catering, Bentley Motors Crewe.

November 2012: RTA has just run a PTLLS course for Health & Safety Professionals from Morris & Spottiswood building company. Further news this month we can now also offer PTLLS at Level 4 via HABC.

Oct 2011: This month RTA have run another PTLLS course in Warrington.

Sept 2011 Congratulations to the 11 staff at Kingsmead School, Wirral who have completed their STA Pool Safety Award

August 2011 Congratulations to the newly qualified Pool Lifeguards & first Aiders that RTA has just taught at Sir John Deane's Leisure Centre, Northwich.

June 2011 RTA has been through a CIEH Audit and has achieved 100% compliance with the CIEH standards as a registered centre.

RTA Has been working with Warrington Borough Council to provide First Aid at Work training.

NEXT OPEN COURSES: Warrington:

Paediatric 12 hrs First Aid course over three evenings 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd July 2012 �85. Or two days 4th & 5th June 2012.

Friday 20th April 2012 - Emergency First Aid at Work one day courses �75.

Level 3 or 4 HABC PTLLS (trainer course) 21-23 and 29th-30th May 2012 (5 days) �365 (Great value).

RTA have been delivering a number of First Aid courses for Warrington and Halton NHS Foundation Trust at their Runcorn Training Centre.

RTA is working with Northwich Education Improvement Partnership to provide training in First Aid in Cheshire, i.e. delivering First Aid at Work and Paediatric First Aid in Northwich schools in 2011.

For several years RTA has been providing First Response courses for the Scout Association and Girl Guiding.

December - January 2011. We are working with the Skills Construction Centre in Kirkham, Lancashire to provide them with PTLLS trainer qualifications., now all qualified.

November 2010 The UK Resuscitation Council has published new Basic Life Support guidelines. There have been some minor changes to CPR our courses have been updated to reflect this.
